2018年10月17日，正值国内重阳节，莱索托当地春风和畅。当地时间上午9时许，由青岛安装建设股份有限公司莱索托分公司承建的“卫生部药厂项目”在项目地隆重举行开工典礼。莱索托首相塔巴内携夫人，卫生部常秘，各部部长，项目地政府领导，设计及监理单位，项目地居民，莱索托分公司李文书总经理及项目部管理人员出席项目开工典礼。
伴随着莱索托国歌声的响起，项目开工典礼正式开始。首先，项目地政府领导发表讲话，感谢分公司积极参与本地区的工程建设及所带动的当地就业和经济发展，并祝愿分公司顺利圆满完成本项目建设；接着卫生部常秘，首相夫人相继发表重要讲话；最后，莱索托首相塔巴内向所有参与开工典礼的人员详细介绍了本项目的规划及药厂建成后所能给莱索托人民带来的利益，塔巴内首相肯定了我分公司的施工能力，期盼我分公司保质保量圆满完成本项目并继续积极参与莱索托的工程建设，同时塔巴内首相积极赞赏中莱两国的友谊，愿与中国人民共同进步。仪式进行过程中，项目地民间艺人自发组织带来精彩演出，为仪式带来了欢声笑语。
讲话完毕，在各部部长及政府官员，分公司总经理及管理人员的陪同下，塔巴内首相走向奠基地点开挖项目第一锨土，现场响起热烈的掌声及欢呼声。
莱索托卫生部药厂项目是分公司近年来承建的最大单体合同额项目，项目涵盖土建，钢结构，室外道路，室外管道等，综合性十分强。项目占地面积29000平方，新建厂房面积4400平方，工程造价是9337万兰特，施工地点马飞腾，建成后将大大提高当地的医疗水平，有效弥补当地药物短缺的现状，同时也将大大提升分公司在莱索托建筑市场的影响力。
